Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
Storage: The antibody was purified from ascites or tissue culture supernatant by affinity chromatography. The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C.
Purified immunoglobulin in IHC antibody diluent containing serum* and 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide.
