Corticotropin Releasing Hormone Receptor (CRF) is a member of the corticotropin-releasing factor family of G-protein-coupled receptors that also includes CRF It is abundantly expressed in the CNS with major expression in the cortex, cerebellum, hippocampus, amygdala, olfactory bulb and pituitary. In the periphery, the receptors are expressed at low levels in the skin, ovary, testis and adrenal gland.
