AbFlex® Myc-Tag antibody (rAb) tested by Western Blot.HEK293T cells were transiently transfected with a Myc-Tagged protein (Lane 1) or with empty vector (Lane 2).   Myc-Tagged protein is observed in lane 1 using this antibody.

AbFlex® antibodies are recombinant antibodies (rAbs) that have been generated using defined DNA sequences to produce highly specific, reproducible antibodies. Each AbFlex antibody contains a 6xHis-Tag, an avidin tag sequence for enzymatic biotin conjugation using the biotin ligase, BirA, and a sortase recognition motif (LPXTG) to attach a variety of labels directly to the antibody including fluorophores, enzymatic substrates (HRP, AP), peptides, drugs as well as solid supports. Myc-Tag is a sequence derived from the human c-Myc protein that has been developed into an effective epitope for detection of tagged proteins expressed in vivo.
