This line-powered cautery instrument maintains desired temperature, from 300° F to 2200° F consistently during tissue contact and does not rapidly diminish.

There is no electrical noise or aberrant radio frequency to cause unintended tissue damage.

The slim, autoclavable handpiece, with six-foot cord, is convenient to maneuver into position. It accepts an assortment of reusable, non-sterile, autoclavable platinum tips.

Reusable TipsHave solid 1" brass shanks and the tips are made with 24-gauge platinum wire. They are available as A, B, C, D, E, O, and V tips. These general purpose electrodes are supplied non-sterile, but may be autoclaved. Quality 24-gauge platinum tips. Non-sterile. Box of 10.  The 59014 come complete with 1 each of the reusable cautery tips shaped like A, C, and E. (Cautery electrodes are supplied non-sterile and may be autoclaved).  O tip - The 59001 is available as reusable only.

ThermaLite® Disposable Tips have the quality of reusable with the convenience of disposable. These disposable electrodes have a hollow brass shank that allows the tips to heat up faster than the reusable tips.  The 59005 come complete with 2 each of the platinum disposable tips shaped like A, C, and E. Disposable tips are in boxes of 10.
