The apoH ELISA^PRO kit provides all necessary reagents and solutions required to quantify apoH in solution, e.g. in cell culture supernatant, and serum/plasma samples. The kit contains an ELISA plate pre-coated with monoclonal capture antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, Streptavidin-HRP, TMB substrate, ELISA standard and Apo ELISA buffer concentrate. The Apo ELISA buffer enables analysis of serum/plasma samples without interference from heterophilic antibodies. The kit contains a pre-coated plate and matched amount of reagents and solutions.

ApoHApolipoprotein H (apoH, also known as apolipoproteinH, apo H, beta 2-glycoprotein 1 and β2-glycoprotein I) is associated to VLDL, HDL and chylomicrons in plasma and binds to anionic lipids e.g. phospholipids. ApoH is the dominant target of autoantibodies in anti-phosphlipid syndrome (APS). In the blood coagulation pathway, apoH is involved both as an anti-coagulant and as a procoagulant. Normal concentration of apoH in human plasma is approximately 0.05-0.6 g/L.
