Background:
Amyloid beta peptides Aβ42 and Aβ40 have been investigated extensively for predicating Alzheimer’s disease. A recent study on amyloid beta peptide Aβ43 in brain showed that Aβ43 is more fibrillogenic than other amyloid beta peptides and could be more useful as a biomarker or therapeutic target for Alzheimer’s disease.
Since Aβ40, Aβ42 and Aβ43 are different only at the few C-end amino acids, antibody to N-terminal sequence can bind with all three amyloid beta peptides.
Application:
1. ELISA:
The antibody was used as capture antibody in sandwich ELISA for Aβ42 detection in combination with detection antibody CA9 10C11 (Cat. No.: MO-M40093B).
The antibody was used as capture antibody in sandwich ELISA for Aβ40 detection in combination with detection antibody CV9 7B10 (Cat. No.: MO-M40095A).
2. IHC: The picture below shows the 40x amplified brain tissue section from transgenic Alzheimer’s disease mouse model after IHC staining with clone NT 4A2.
(Procedure: After heat induced epitope retrieval, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded brain tissue section from 12 month old APPswe/PSEN1dE9 mouse was incubated at 4oC with 0.01mg/ml NT 4A2 overnight. Bound antibody was detected using a HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse antibody).

装置是这样的:旋转蒸发仪上的冷凝管的水直接流到真空泵里以冷却真空泵然后再从真空泵里流出来.
现在的问题是,我第一天清洗过真空泵之后,第二天再用就发现真空泵里的水已经有股臭味了,有没有什么好的办法可以让它不臭?这样每天都处理的话,太浪费时间了.如果哪位有什么好主意的话,请告知,谢谢!
要看清楚每个真空泵的真空度，选择使用。有必要时，自己测定一下其真空度，若与所写数值有差别时，请告知管理员。
使用时记得加冷阱，有必要时请对所蒸产品进行预处理。
使用结束后，先停止加入，并等体系冷却至室温，再放气，关泵，撤掉冷阱，千万不要弄反顺序。
如发现真空泵管道漏气时，请及时与管理员联系。
若是由于个人操作失误，导致真空泵损坏时，管理员有权停其使用权限，并让其负责维修。
