Description: Human PTP1B Protein tyrosine phosphatase, also known as PTPN1, catalytic domain, (a.a. 1-321), (Genbank accession no. M31724) with N-terminal GST tag, MW=63.3 kDa, expressed in E. coli. Source: E. coli. Stability: >6 months at -80°C Purity: > 95% by SDS-PAGE. Specific Activity: 20 U/ug. One unit will hydrolyze 1 nmol p-nitrophenyl phosphate per minute at pH 7.4 and 30°C. Assay buffer: 50 mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 2 mM EDTA, 3 mM DTT, 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM pNPP.
