Ourpre-patternedITOsubstratesaremanufacturedfromcommercialgradeITOusedintheflatpaneldisplayindustry.Thisguaranteeshighconsistencyandverylowdefectratesinordertohelpyouproducehighqualitydevices.
OssilaEncapsulationEpoxyhasbeenprovennottodamagedelicatepolymersorreactivelayerssuchascalcium.TheScale-upSubstratepackscomewitheither10mlofepoxy(20pack)or60mlofepoxy(100pack).
Forrobustprotectionduringmanualhandlingandtopreventwaterandoxygeningress,aglassencapsulationslideisusedasthetoplayer.Thisenablesstorageandmeasurementofthedevicesunderambientconditionswithonlyminimaledgeingressafterseveralweeks.
Fortestingwerecommendapogopinbasedconnection.WewillbereleasingacompatIBLevariantoftheSmartBoardsoon.Electricalconnectionlegsarenotrecommendedwiththescaleupsubstratesystemduetothenumberofconnectionsnecessarytobemade.Theyarehoweverstillcompatiblewiththesystemandcanbeboughthereforthoseusingbreadboardtestcircuits.
