Background:
Raf-1 is a serine/threonine protein kinase in the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway. When extracellular signal binds to the G-protein coupled membrane receptor, Ras binds to GTP and phosphorylates Raf. The activated Raf phosphorylates MAPK kinase, which consecutively, activates MAPK. MAPK triggers the transcription of a wide spectrum of genes involved with cell growth and differentiation by activating transcription factors such as C-myc andCREB. MAPK also regulates translation by phosphorylating RSK, a ribosomal protein 6S kinase.
Gene for Raf-1 is located on chromosome 3. The mutations on Raf-1 may relate to some rare but severe diseases such as Noonan syndrome and Leopard syndrome.
Application:
Western Blot:The antibody, when used at 1μg/mL, will allow visualization of 0.2μg/lane of recombinant human Raf-1 (75 kDa).

如果用组织DNA提取试剂盒,提出来的就是组织细胞的DNA了
将来可能会出现基于免疫方法的试剂盒,不过因为H7N9是个新病毒,爆发至今不足一月,这么快时间还来不及生产抗体,所以目前的检测试剂盒只能是PCR检测试剂盒。
