求助慢病毒载体问题

问题描述：
我的研究目的是:药物对不同突变型的诱导作用是否存在差异。突变位点在编码区，但是这个药物的结合位点在启动子区的一段顺式作用元件上，现在公司说不能将这个元件和编码区一起构建，求大神指教我应该怎么做呢？
